SIZING CHART

In order to find your correct wig cap size, please follow the below chart (measurements are in inches):

It is crucial that you measure your head correctly before ordering your Avasi wig.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HEAD FOR YOUR WIG

1. First, brush your hair through thoroughly in a backwards motion towards the nape of your neck, making sure that any knots are brushed out of your hair so that it is smooth.

2. Style your hair firmly into a low ponytail, low or inside braids, or a low bun. These styles will compress your hair so that your hair lays as flat as possible onto your scalp. If you choose to style your hair into a low ponytail or braids, use hair pins to further compress your hair to your scalp by flipping your ponytail upwards, or your braids to each opposite side, and pinning it to your scalp. If you have thick hair, you may find it more beneficial to style your hair into braids to compress your hair as much as possible.

Pro Tip: Dampen your hair with water as the hair cuticle shrinks when wet, making it easier to compress your hair. You can also use a gel, mousse, or hairspray to help compress your hair.

3. Once your hair is in its compressed style, use a tailors measuring tape to firmly measure your head according to the measuring guide above. Make sure the measuring tape is NOT LOOSE whilst you are measuring for the most accurate measurements.

EXTRA TIPS

If you are in between sizes when choosing a full lace wig, it is recommended that you choose the larger size as the smaller sized measurements for the areas that you are measuring a size larger in may be too tight for your head. Lace front wigs do have more elasticity, so if you are in between sizes, it is recommended that you choose the smaller size that you are in between.
